DRAKHTIK

 My heart is broken. In my country in Artsakh there was an attack on 27th September from Azerbaijan and Turkey. And in this war there were Syrian mercenaries. It was a full-scale war along the Artsakh territory. My country has been fighting against terrorism for 44 days. But since our country is very small and there was no modern weapons, our soldiers withstood as best they could. Our fighters are all heroes and I worship before them. We lost the best guys, artists, actors, doctors and etc, and this is a heavy pain for each of us. We lost part of our lands, my beloved Hadrut, many villages and one of villages is Drakhtik where I was born and raised. Also we lost our ancient city Shushi and many Armenian monasteries moved towards Azerbaijan. Armenians are the first Christians in the world and present believers and evidence of numerous Khachkars wherever Armenians lived and live. I now call on everyone to support us in order to help return to us the Artsakh people those territories that have never been to Azerbaijan and Armenians have always lived on these lands since the 5th century and about it numerous manuscripts in all famous museums. 

In these pictures are the ancient Church Nrneg which was created by Armenian mystical poet Grigor Narekatsi in the 16th century. He is a saint of the Armenian Apostolic Church and was declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Francis in 2015.
